The (Almost) Full Story (Patreon)

Hey everyone! This is Logan. I'm sorry if the rate of uploads and updates has been slow recently. We've been trying to deal with some very fortunate business outside the scope of our YouTube channel, and it's unfortunately been slowing things down. I can't tell you everything (or much at all) because of NDAs, but some things are happening on our side that are quite big, and have required a lot of our time and attention as we sort through how they're going to work and what our responsibilities regarding them are.

We thought we'd be able to resume working normally as of early this month, but things picked up more about this other thing and didn't let up. I repeat: this is a good thing. If you knew what it was and we could tell you I'm almost positive you'd agree. However, you'll have to wait until we can tell you. We're not pleased with our progress over the last two months, but we are have had to focus on this other non-youtube project with no wiggle room. However, the initial stages are over and we have room to resume proper work on YouTube again!

To prevent this from happening again, we're currently looking into hiring another editor to work on the YouTube content. It's becoming increasingly obvious that while pursuing opportunities afforded to me, I don't personally have to time edit as much as I used to. I'm going to have to take a step back and assume the role of VA, lead writer, and creative director instead of being our lead editor as well. This will only happen once we find a suitable replacement, however. 

When the time comes when we can publicly talk about the opportunity afforded to us, you'll all be the first to know. In the meantime this is why we push for a per-post model here: you won't be charged for work we didn't get done. We should be back in full swing soon, but I only say so cautiously as my workflow adjusts to the new work in front of me.

I hope you'll understand! We haven't lost steam, aim to get back on track, and hate making excuses, but this external opportunity is simply too much to ignore. I truly can't reinforce enough that you'll enjoy it as much as we do when it goes public.

(Also for context, we currently have several scenes all on the cusp of being done. We're kind of at a floodgate position right now. When the uploads start coming they're not going to stop for a while)
