Update (Patreon)

Heyo Patrons~ Today I want to give you an update on why we've been a bit lax, and tell you our future plans(because they've changed slightly).

We haven't had any spoiler content to post lately because we've been decompressing from the Digimon Tri Abridged episode(there was some troubles during editing that exhausted a couple of us, but we're basically fine now!). I want to post content on Tuesdays consistently, but also don't want to belittle it by posting nonsense that doesn't mean much.

We've been thinking about our release model, and within the next half-year really want to get to the three episodes per month mark. We know we can do it, it's just a matter of properly using our time and deciding what we want to work on. These thoughts have been alongside us realizing there's a large demand for Digimon episodes(which we DO want to address, but we don't want to detract from Bleach).

We've decided that after the Bleach Abridged Movie(which will be coming out late this month or early next month), while we focus on Season 3 of Bleach we'll also be trying to work on and incorporate Digimon Abridged episodes regularly. We know we can, it's just a matter of dividing up the work to leave everyone satisfied(since if we start releasing four episodes a month, it might be a bit more of a financial burden on high-pledging patrons than we'd like. Of course, on that note I'll remind everyone to make sure to set a pledge-cap for how much you're willing to spend a month just in case!).

Because of our long string of long-form content(Bleach episode 12, the Tri movie and the Bleach movie) our release schedule has taken a pretty sucky hit. Those long episodes take a lot longer to edit, and they completely derail our workflow because there's always a lot of unpredictable elements involved with making longer content. Once the movie is done we'll be back to making proper, regular content. I can't see another collection of long-form episodes happening in such a small time-frame again.

Furthermore, Gurren Lagann The Satire WON'T be pushed aside. That's a pet project though, which I'm personally working on on my own time, only when it doesn't get in the way of everything else. It'll continue, just not with any reliable release schedule.

Anyways, that's the breakdown of our plans for the short/mid-term future. We're always trying to produce more content, especially since the support we've been getting has allowed us to make a lot of changes for the better in terms of our process.
