May Writing/Report Pledge (Patreon)

The time is flying isn't it? It still feels like we're somewhere in April, and the world just keeps getting crazier and more hostile. I earnestly hope all of you are safe, healthy and mentally sound right now.

We hate to do it again but since we got so much support regarding this last month and we haven't managed to release as many scenes this much as we wanted we're going to have to fall back on the writing/report pledge again. Most scenes in UBW:A Ep7 are coming along and three now are almost done (apart from the one that is, obviously). We had some hiccups because of late recordings we got in, and even then I'm not satisfied with some of the lines so we'll be rerecording several characters for some scenes (notably Archer and Sasaki, as I ended up suffering from a sore throat that was taking root and I didn't get what I wanted from the session). 

Work on Bleach has been continuing but since Blu-ray footage came out w decided to redo the visuals for the last episode using the newer footage. It's not slowing it up as much as it probably sounds like it is.

We did some upgrades to our recording setup this month including getting a handycam to use for our booth setup rather than using a webcam, and so-far we've seen it doesn't freeze. It cost a lot of our maintenance budget but that's what it's for I guess.

I'm relatively annoyed that I went into 2020 earnestly aiming to finish UBW:A over the year and it simply isn't happening. I wanted to have up to episode 8 done by now and be working on episode 9. Gotta admit, it's discouraging. Despite that we're trying to find our feet and get sprinting again.
