Production Goals (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone! I've been a lot more about showing you guys content that is being worked on lately than giving information regarding upcoming work (which is good in its own way since it means something is always being worked on, but at the same time it's been a long while) so I wanted to sit down and give a breakdown regarding what we're going to be working on in the near future, as well as be honest regarding what shows we can give our attention to.
What We're Working On
Our most immediate goal currently is to finish Bleach Episode 26, and Inuyasha Episode 1. The reason for this is that Bleach has been neglected far too much lately, and Inuyasha needs to be done because we plan to premiere it at Sakuracon if we get a panel there. We may also try to keep Bleach back-logged so we can show it as well, but really want to get back on releasing Bleach episodes monthly if we can.
After those are done, which we hope will be by the end of this month/early next month, we're hoping to sit down and write up a storm. I want to write the rest of this season of Fate(2-3 episodes), at least four episodes of Bleach and a whole ton of Inuyasha as well. We don't plan to start releasing Inuyasha Abridged outside Patreon until we have effectively a season of content for it made.
I'm also trying to make time to write Fate Last Encore, and more of Fate Apocrypha. We're working on both in the background and hope to only release them once the full series or a full season are done of either. We also don't want to let their production interfere with UBW or Bleach.
We hope to get to a point over the next few months where we're releasing a Bleach episode each month, and a UBW episode every 3 months tops.
So Here's A Hard Truth
Let's talk about Digimon for a moment. Both Adventure and Tri. We love working on it earnestly, and the show is actually what gave us our first major spike in production. However... Toei hasn't made things easy on us. They do regular sweeps where various episodes are striked at once even if they've been hit before, and when they do it takes upwards of 2 months to get even one of them back. As more episodes come out, this becomes a more unmanageable problem. Even having two copyright appeals processes going on the channel at once puts us in danger of losing the channel entirely at any time. Due to this, even a single sweep can set us back months, sometimes up to a year in getting them all back.
So unfortunately, until we can think of a solution to this issue, we have to suspend work on Digimon. It breaks my heart to say it, but our channel isn't large enough to have the resources required to combat those sweeps in their entirety. Someday I hope to return to the project, but it simply can't be feasibly worked on while the current system is in place.
We understand that there are those here only for Digimon, and can't expect your ongoing support here on Patreon. We thank you deeply for joining us as far as we've come, and someday we hope to come back to the series and see you again. There's no proper way to apologize for this let down. I just hope you'll understand why.
