Right now, we're working on several things as usual. The two main things we're working on are the 4th Digimon Tri Movie and the 2nd episode of Unlimited Blade Works(Ep 1). We're just about ready to begin working on Bleach once again(which I'm very relieved about, I've been wanting to get back on it!) but we've needed to take care of some things first.
The next episode of Unlimited Blade Works should come out this month for Patrons, and I'll keep giving updates on it. Digimon Tri will be worked on during the same period, and we expect it to be finished in June.
Digimon Adventure will continue soon as well, and was delayed by the fact that the footage we use(Bluray footage) only exists in a particular boxset released in limited quantities several years ago only in Japan, and we had to drop a pretty large amount of money to get it to get enough footage to comfortably continue the series. It was quite the fund-sink, but now that we have it we have it.
Bleach Abridged will return after Tri and UBW are released. What held us up were some casting decisions we had to make since we're about to enter into a large amount of characters that will be around for a long time. Season 4 begins a lot of new, exciting ground as we introduce the Espada, Nel and begin Ichigo's long long long LONG journey to save Orihime.
Additionally, this month I will be releasing another remastered Bleach Abridged Season 1 episode(this one will not be rewritten, but will be voiced over with current actors, and have Bluray footage/updated editing).
Something I'm very happy to reveal about Digimon Adventure/Bleach (S) Abridged episode moving forward is that we're changing our episode lengths. Before we aimed for episodes that were 7-12 minutes in length, but in making UBW Abridged we decided to experiment with a slightly longer format. The 17-23 minute mark is what we'll be aiming for from now on. All Digimon Adventure and Bleach (S) Abridged episodes will follow this format.
There are a couple of reasons as to why, and I'd like to be entirely transparent about them(while also discussing another thing holding back Bleach (S) Abridged). The first factor is simply that we enjoy that pacing. Our style of parody has always been drier and more character-based, and that works better when the episodes are longer and have more breathing room. The other is copyright strikes. Bleach episodes at this point get a copyright strike 80% of the time, so release two a month basically cripples the channel temporarily. Releasing a long episode with the length of two normal ones(or more) means just as much or more content with only one strike, which is much easier to deal with. This is also why we've been focusing on Digimon and UBW lately: we're currently riding out two copyright strikes and a third would take the channel down, so we can't put up Bleach content until we deal with them.
I'd also like to note that I'm going to change the $1,000 tier milestone, to reflect a recent goal of mine. At that point Aaron Robert Parnell(voice of Aizen, Renji, Matt, Lancer, many others) would be able to quit his job and work for/with me full-time. That would mean a lot of extra content on the channel without having to make any compromises. I really want to get him out of his day-job, so I hope you all stick with us enough that we can get to that point and bring him in on a creative career path.
Final note: Bleach (Re:S) Abridged Ep1 will be back on the 5th, when that copyright claim clears.
