I was heated at first too like they were able to sneak bombs and huge ass flags lmao but after rewatching i realized that electric glove didn't exist before now. the reason lin was so confident was because they were wearing metal armor, the normal hand to hand chi block wouldn't affect them. now that they had the electricity, it was a major disadvantage since it was metal armor.
