He’s considered the bum of the family they found out he got a gf so so the family wants to make his life more miserable. They’ve always wanted to take him out of school and this incident gave them an opportunity to try to get rid of him. But just to sum it up family is assholes and don’t want to see him be happy. The reason why he went with them is because this gave him a chance to talk to his father and seek redemption. One think I did not like about this show is how they handle this episode and next because this family stuff came out of no where.
