Transcendence's ceremonial armor (Patreon)

My idea started from "what if Transcendence was a battle cult" and turned into "Transcendence is the battle cult". As their patron is Councilor Noera, she expects something in return - in this case that being her unofficial "personal army" who is under her and cult's leader's direct control (the leader figure is yet under construction), while the official forces, T'egra's Fleet, is under command of the Councilor Kaydren, with whom Noera is not on the best of terms.

That being said, now why does ceremonial armor and idol whom they worship may remind you of Xera? The history is an interesting thing, and one whom have you worship now is not the one you would want to worship if you knew the truth you have no idea of. I know it sounds somewhat encrypted, I'm just not sure if I want to spoil so much before anything else has been shown to support the answer, thus I'm looking for doing proper illustrations and maybe, probably, something else to tell this particular story.
