Galactic Games (Patreon)

Galactic Games are something like our Olympic games, but focused mostly on riding races.

Each race have team of 10 members, five of which are riders, and five - their mounts.

According to rules of the competition each mount should be native to the race that it belongs to.

Exceptions are:

• extincted species;
• endangered species;
• lack thereof.

Possible solution*:

• adopted species (but not a duplicate of someone else's participating species);
• species that are already a part of one of the race's colonies (they share the same territory with the race, but are not native to it).

*Wild-captured, untamed and vicious animals are forbidden at the Galactic Games.

The game is divided into five main stages:

• Introduction (all teams are interviewed by "galactic TV").
• Trial (takes place at orbital stadium).
• Landing (first round, takes place at planet's** surface that been specifically chosen for the concrete season of the GG).
• Survival (second round, fear not, no one dies here).
• Finale (third, last round - winners from the previous round compete among themselves; announcement of the winner of Galactic Games; victory march; festival of closing).

**Each season Orbital Stadium travels to different planet to fulfill theme of the season (it could be sand or snow deserts, jungle etc.)

• 1 Shor =  1.92 Earth days
• 1 Sheerth (consists of 5 Shors) = 9.6 Earth days
• 1 Khont (consists of 9 Sheerths or 45 Shors) = 86.4 Earth days
• 1 Setkht (consists of 10 Khonts or 90 Sheerths or 450 Shors) = 864 Earth days (about 2.3 years)

Galactic Games are held every five setkhts, thus each team have time to prepare themselves for the next season.
