Italy bug fixed

Want to relieve the last 24 years of football and rewrite history? Now you can with the FM24 1990/00 Retro Database.  This database was created by Yabani and the FMRetroGroup for FM20 and has been converted over to FM24 by MrTini23 after receiving permission to do so.

How to play Season 1999/00 on FM24 - PC

GAME MUST BE CLOSED BEFORE INSTALLATION

Note: When creating a new save file you may experience an error message about discipline rules.  This is a known editor bug and can be ignored.

Extract the downloaded files using Winrar or similar extraction program.

LAUNCH OPTIONS METHOD

Database and graphics files

Copy the Sports Interactive file into your documents folder. This will create a new folder in your Sports Interactive folder called Football Manager 9900

Head over to steam and right click on Football Manager 2024, select properties.  At the bottom you will see launch options.

Copy and paste this code, replacing the X's with the username of your PC --user_data_location="C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 9900"

To go back to the base Football Manager, just delete these launch options.

Regens file

Copy the Program files folder into your C drive to install the regen files.

Once you have created your save you can delete the file from Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2024\data\database\db\2400\edt\permanent

STANDARD METHOD

Database and graphics files

Remove the graphics from your Football Manager 2024 folder and all files from your editor data folder.

Copy the contents of the Football Manager 9900 folder to your Football Manager folder.

Regens file

Copy the Program files folder into your C drive to install the regen files.

Once you have created your save you can delete the file from Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2024\data\database\db\2400\edt\permanent
