Recently, I've discovered the potential of using A.I arts for my game. After quite some time of tweaking and figuring things out, I've finally successfully adapted it to my art style. It was just a random thought at first, but the results turned out quite acceptable (as you can see above). Now it's time for I to decide and I want to know what do you think about it.

The game screenshot above is an example where I used A.I art and drew over it in order to improve its quality. Can you tell whether it's from me or from a software?

I want to be clear that I will only use it on limited occasions where the quality and accuracy of A.I art satisfy my standards. Otherwise, I'd prefer to draw the CGs myself.

Now, let's consider the pros and cons:

Pros:

  • Time saving (the most important aspect of using AI).
  • The ability to choose the best out of many examples means the results will always be eye-catching and satisfying.
  • More CGs means more contents for the game. I won't need to lay off an idea just because I don't have time to draw a specific CG for a specific event.

Cons:

  • I don't know, you tell me.

Another demonstration you'd like to see (nsfw).

Why not, I always recommend the game developer use AI to generate art asset so they can deliver way more faster than before

Using AI is a good idea. However, it would feel strange if Yuuki"s style suddenly changed to ai. At least when you're making a 'The Curse of Pleasure', I want you to keep the current style of painting. (sorry i used a translator)

Both look good (prefer your art of course). I don't mind either way, so it's your call to make boss.

Using AI to help get started and give yourself ideas/outlines is a great idea since your using it to save time and enhance your own work. It is even better since you can train it off your own art style. That being said, something is bugging me about the proportions of the two drawings. Particularly the stomach/waist lines on Yuuki's sides in the NSFW drawing and I think it's the ratio between the head, torso, and legs. I may need to replay to get a feel for your art style again before I can offer a better opinion.

From my point of view, your style is unique and it is what gives it an incomparable touch with the main character, you draw it and it has an air of maturity and femininity; The show makes it look more childish and I feel like if it changes your unique style, it might only be applicable to the male characters?

I think your original style is much better than AI's

If I can tell it was generated: nay If I can't tell : yay (So far, I think we can tell) Supporting you for your art, how you get to the result is up to you though.

I think it's not a matter of IF but WHEN. AI is developing so fast that if it's hard to distinguish AI from manual drawing now, in six months, the quality of AI drawings will be so good that no one will be able to tell the difference, and then you will suffer a lot. You put a lot of work into drawing one picture, while for AI, it takes just a few minutes. If I were in your shoes, I would switch to AI as soon as possible.

i can only say that make the game faster then we can have more finish soon then come up to next projest. I think is good for your hand, the face look younger but the boobs to small for original version. If u can i just wanna u have a select a size of boobs, maybe some public hair. :3 Anyway with me Pros: Face look cute and more pretty with nose, chin, mouth, and eyes. Golden ratio is good for girl body but i like the old body cause the butt not big to much. All is good and very fast. Cons: I dont know cause i have nothing to reproach with that style. Just a little i wanna boobs and breast bigger. Tks you.

Hope you don't become lazier after using AI. There are many H games that use AI for all assets. I'm okay if you use AI as long as the quality doesn't drop too much

One of the biggest cons of AI-assisted work would be a lack of creative ownership, as it learns to copy your work it will use your work in others.
