I've got a couple shows coming up!

This saturday I'll be doing a 1950's inspired act to the Riverdale cover of Milkshake. I made it last year for a rockabilly festival upstate and it went over really well! It's much sweeter than my usual acts but I love the song and the costume so I'm looking forward to doing it again.
I'm doing it at The Deep End with Cat's Eye Cabaret, which is always a fun mix of burlesque and circus acts. This month's theme is Time Machine, so I'm very curious to see what periods and circus skills get mixed together.

In August I'll be in a show based on the Locked Tomb book series! This might be the MOST niche show I've ever done, which is really saying something.
If you haven't read the books, I highly recommend them. It's lesbian necromancers in space. Who doesn't want to read that?!

Continuing my tradition of acts based on things no one's ever heard of BUT ARE REALLY REALLY GOOD, I will be doing an act based on Pearl in Hotsy Totsy's A24 show on November 9th. A24 is a film company known for extraordinarily weird and good movies, so this should be a great show!
Pearl is the prequel to X (which may be the best made slasher movie in history?) but it is not a slasher. It's more in the tradition of golden age horror/thrillers like Sunset Boulevard or Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. It's about a farm girl whose overwhelming desire to be perfect, special, A STAR, leads her to some grisly acts. There's SO MUCH fodder for a burlesque act, I'm almost drooling at the prospect.
