Giving Johnny Spike hair would be no small feat. His hair is very dark, and kind of only works in a specific style so just styling with a colored hairspray wasn't really going to work. Also, it's really hard to find a blond pompadour wig. So I got one with a hair line that would work, and styled the hell out it. It took a lot of teasing, a lot of hairspray, and a lot of colored pomade, not to mention cutting, sewing and a thousand blond bobby pins. I learned that I can make sideburns with enough back combing! Back combing is magical.
