I'm not the best person to ask about how this con compared to other cons. I went to NYCC for a fews hours once and the only other con I've been to was an x-files con when I was 11.

My geek interests tend toward the odd/unpopular so not a lot of the programing was my personal taste and I’m super introverted so I spent a lot of time on my balcony reading, writing, and watching the waves. But that's a great way to spend your time!

The big deal stars all came on and off the boat in the same day so I didn’t get to meet Frank Miller or the Stranger Things kids. But Sean Gunn, of Gilmore Girls and Guardians of the Galaxy fame, came to both of our shows. The last night of the con I ended up eating dinner with one of the artists of Deadpool and I became buddies with Chris Sims, the host of one of my boyfriend’s favorite podcasts. Is that something that would happen to everyone? Probably not. But it's really cool to be at a con where that *could* happen.

I really hope they do it again and I hope it gets bigger. The biggest downside was sharing the boat with normals. That and the fact that the tvs played Brooklyn 99, but only in Spanish, French, or German.
