After my 4th gig in a row, getting up off the couch just wasn't going to happen. Instead, I did some adulting stuff I needed to do. I answered email, set up sessions, booked pole, flexibility and writing classes, scheduled Dr's appointments, set up direct deposit for my rent, read up on a bunch of FB writing forums, and worked on my Bullicorn Morning Routine Merit Badge.

Actually writing it down, that seems like a lot. Go me!

I haven't done anything arty yet, but my dinner plans were canceled so I'll try and do some sketching later.

This week has made it pretty clear that full time performing isn't something my body can handle so I'm working out what an ideal balance would be between performing, writing, GTAing and what other day jobs I can pick up to fill in the blanks. Writing is seductive, but pays about the same as burlesque (arguably less.) I think my best bets are event producing (which I know I don't want to do full time, but I seem to be pretty damn good at) and photoshop/graphic design, (which I don't have professional level skills for, but can do even on days when I'm functionally brain dead.)
I booked those writing classes because they were free but I think it's time to look into photoshop classes and finish my event website. On my next adulting day.
