Blood Roses (Patreon)

There's a lot of time in this image.

Last night I asked Johnny what he thought of it and he was like "Wait, did you make all of that?!" And I wasn't really sure how to answer him.

The mask was pre-made. They came blank in an art supply store. My mom bought it for me to paint when I was... somewhere between 7 and 9? It hung on our wall until the early 2000s when I accidentally broke it while playing with my dog. I kept the pieces and around 2008 I put it in this gold tin with red fabric and dried roses. Most of the roses didn't survive the 5 moves they've been through so I digitally added roses from photos I took this spring/summer. And last night I put together the background in photoshop.

I think I like it like this but I guess we'll see what happens to it in the next 10 years.
