I've been really productive this week so I'm gonna brag a little!

I drew this horse! I was hoping the pen colors would make it kind of iridescent looking but it's going to take more work and probably a background to get anything like that.

I had an informational interview with a graphic designer and bought some books she recommended. I'm starting to get burned ot on my GTA job so I'm thinking of transitioning into graphic design. I like event strategy but, apart from my other mom's company, I'm not sure there are event companies that want to hire a freelancer just to pitch crazy ideas. Most companies seem to have the crazy idea person *running* company which seems like a terrible idea to me, but what do I know?

Graphic design seems like a good freelance job. Unlike writing, it's something I can usually do even if I'm tired or sick or depressed. So I'm figuring out what I already know, what I need to learn, where I should specialize, and how to put together a portfolio. Today I practiced my llustrator skills.

I also contacted House of Wax about going forward with New Flesh. It was scary but I think I wrote a good email.

I wrote another 1500 words in my book and started working on my taxes.

I don't know if this is interesting at all but I'm pretty proud.
