Nerdlesque Fest! (Patreon)

This weekend was my third time performing with the Nerdlesque Festival and I had a fucking blast! This was the best lineup they've had so far. I loved almost every single act and even the ones I wasn't crazy about were still decent.

I wasn't sure how my Hannigram act would go over. Hannibal is pretty niche and the Will/Hannibal dynamic is, understandably, not for everyone and definitely on the creepy side. But I really think that it's one of the best acts I've ever done. It's the most I've collaborated on an act with someone and Lewd was great to work with. Usually I have an idea, choreograph it, and recruit someone to be in it. But in this case, it was Lewd's idea, he asked if anyone wanted to do a Hannibal/Will duet and I ENTHUSIASTICALLY volunteered. He didn't have a specific idea, just some vague thoughts and possible music suggestions. Then we made the act together, so much so that I can't remember which ideas were whose.

The act was a hit! A number of people came up to us after the show to say how hot it was and many of them hadn't even seen the show. It's funny that people talked about how horny and sexy it was when the two of us barely touch during the act. I feel like that's a testimony to how strong our chemistry and the construction of the act was. It's not a very burlesque-y number. There's very little sparkle. The costumes are all street clothes. The choreography is not at all showy. But people were still impressed with it and that makes me really proud.
