The NYC burlesque scene is a big fucking mess right now and taking sides in it has cost me a friend, a work space, a rehearsal space, and one of my favorite performing opportunities, and I'm barely even involved so I really feel bad for the people who are.
It definitely confirmed my decision to take a break from performing, but that decision is somewhat at odds with my desire to make a living in December so.... Once I get back from Seattle I have a couple gigs booked and hopefully some GTA/domme/event work will crop up or I'll sell a lot of articles/stuff on redbble.
There's also a chance I'll be moving in December so maybe I'll just do a lot of packing and decorating and hope to make up the difference in the new year.

This is all to say I'm sorry I haven't been posting much. I think my posts would have not been so interesting anyway.

But I'm in Seattle now! And staying in what could loosely be termed a brothel. So that's fun. I get to hang out with sex workers and sleep in a ridiculously comfortable bed. I sent a few article pitches and I have a bunch of ideas that I'm just just having a hard time putting into pitch form. But it's much easier to work in a space that isn't my apartment so I'm enjoying that.

I'm performing 3 or 4 times while I'm here, seeing some friends, and I'll go to some cool museums so hopefully that'll give me some good stuff to post about.
