Poor Connor, man. Dude's been getting his strings yanked since minute one.

Good for Gunn! Finally someone doesn't take him for granted and doesn't treat him like he's lucky to have a partner. I'm glad they gave him this storyline after the whole debacle with Fred and Wesley.

Gunn was lied to, manipulated and used. He did better than Gwen expected and she was impressed. Gunn seems unbothered by it, particularly with a bit of action with Gwen at the end. Doesn't change what it is though.

@fuffy_rights Wesley, a good number of fans, and the other members of Angel Investigations too a smaller extent. The man has been through the ringer his whole life, growing up on the rough streets, losing his sister, and still rose to become a leader and strong adversary against the forces of evil. He is every bit a remarkable champion in his own right. And still Wesley and the narrative hold the subtext that Fred is so out of his league because... what... she is formally educated? The way the narrative around Wesley forcing a kiss on Fred and Fred gaslighting Gunn to cover for him was framed as neutral or slightly against Gunn was frankly, completely incorrect. Gunn has every right to be mad that Wesley assaulted her and Fred lied to his face to protect Wesley but everyone turned it around on him as if he was overreacting and abusive for having those valid feelings.

“Has Cordy been a bad, bad girl?”
