Another birthday gone wrong ??

Sassy Tara might even be better than Sassy Giles. As far as Hally and Spike, do you remember the young lady that spurned William at the party right before Dru turned him? Wouldn't be that she also looks a little familiar maybe also ...

Buffy is only 21 🥺🥺

Saga

I love this episode, mostly because Tara is on FIRE! And I love to see how far she's come, just as you said. Here for all the Taralove!<3<3<3

SpikesEcho

I think it's bizarre how young Sarah is when she was filming the show. It depresses me that she comes off so much older (like in her 30s) than what she really was (early to mid 20s).

Very interesting, I somehow never caught that. That's the girl that he wrote the poems for that said that William was beneath her if I'm thinking right. Is it known if she was a demon or still human at the time?

SoFieReacts

Wait whaaat ?! The girl that told him ''You're beneath me ?''

Yeah the woman who plays Hallie is the same one to play Cecily the woman who turned down Spike as a human in Fool for Love. Pretty neat callback :)

Marty

I think it was an inside joke from the writers, because they hired the same actress who played Cecile in spike’s flashbacks to play now Alfrek😂😂

Ava Sinclair

The actress that played Sophie does look like you! What a weird/cool coincidence! And yes, like others have said, Halfrek is the one who wrecked human William by telling him he was beneath her. Since they recognized each other, I'm taking that as canon that it did actually happen, and it would be a cool backstory - was Halfek a demon before that and Cecily just a guise - if so, she probably broke Spike's heart just for hijinks. Or was she really just that cruel as a human and D'hoffryn was like 'oh, new recruit!' Guess we'll never know.

Phoenix Dawn

I think my hypothesis has no basis but I do believe Halfrek was indeed Cecile. They change names when they become vengeance demons. I think, maybe.

Marty

Yeh that’s what we are let to believe from their small interaction I think, but that’s all we got😂 I think it’s brilliant😂😂

Marty

And it’s played perfectly!!! Like the way she touches her hair after realizing it’s him, it’s like seeing someone you rejected in the past who has become hot😂😂😂 it was just perfect

I feel so bad for Dawn too. I kind of like the idea of a vengeance demon guidance councilor for kids that are being abused at home but it's also kind of manipulative and sometimes vengeance on the abuser can have negative consequences for the kid.

Anastasia

Love Tara so much. Lol @ Sofie for rewinding the "William?" scene 4x ...there is no new information hahaha can we just leave her in the dark, it's funnier that way.... :P
