I mean I watched the originals after tvd and for me it didn’t really ruin it apart from the fact that… you know *redacted* doesn’t die it kinda ruined the suspense of that but I also was relieved to know they wouldn’t bc it defeated the point of the show. The rest of the tvd spoilers from what I remember don’t really ruin anything, originals has the more damning crossover where they literally spill everything that happens to Stefan in the episode lol

yeah the redacted is what i meant lol its just the suspense and storyline of s1 i was concerned would be ruined from the crossovers kinda ruined or explained what some characters are in life or are okay. Like what i was referring is you know who is okay cuz of the crossover episode regarding the phone call w care and klaus. I guess cuz im a live watcher and watched both shows at the same air times makes me see it differently with a different experience so when i was watching it at the same time you noticed the timelines and some events tying together and i honestly just hope it leaves the same intensity i had for s1 storyline for sofie :)

I think the important thing about Marcel's vampires, is that they are incredibly loyal to Marcel. So, although it is ~ disrespectful, ~ they don't really care, because they'll do anything for their king, essentially. And it feels very organic, so I appreciate getting that detail early on. Also, I kind of love Marcel's confidence in how he interacts with Klaus. Shows a lot about his relationship to him already.

Yeah I get it I also would’ve preferred if she did both shows together so the suspense is real for season 1, Sofie has a good memory I hope she doesn’t remember the 2nd bombshell from TVD. I watched them both at the same time when they aired and then I didn’t watch anything for a while hence me watching them separately later :) but honestly even with someone like me who enjoys spoilers, season 1 still kept me on my toes and I was honestly scared even if I knew what happened so I do hope it’s the same for Sofie
