Great reaction! On Daenerys, from my memory of the books she actually intended to kill herself and believed she would die. Whilst Targaryens have more resistance to heat (as shown with her being able to endure the hot bath), they are not immune to fire. The author of the books has said her surviving was effectively a miracle. So she's as surprised as anyone to be alive, and certainly to now have three dragons!

No, Dany knew (or heavily suspected) what would happen. In the tv show when Jorah says “I won’t watch you burn,” Dany responds “is that what you fear?” because she suspects that she won’t die by fire. She has been figuring it out all season. Additionally, when Mirri the witch, says “you will not hear my screams” Dany responds “I will. But it is not your screams I want, only your life.” because by now she has figured out, based on Mirri’s words that “only death pays for life.” Hence, why Dany puts Drogo, Mirri, and her baby on the pyre. Three lives for three dragons lives (you're right, it was not just fire that brings back dragons - it is blood (life) and fire). Additionally, Dany was not thinking of committing suicide because she makes a whole speech asking for loyalty, from the slaves and khalesar who stayed, saying that their enemies “would die screaming.” This is also about what happens in the book. Here is a conversation between Jorah and Dany in the book: “but do not ask me to stand aside as you climb on Drogo’s pyre. I will not watch you burn.” “Is that what you fear?” Dany kissed him lightly on his broad forehead. “I am not such a child as that, sweet ser.” “You do not mean to die with him? You swear it, my queen?” “I swear it,” Then Dany thinks “They thought her mad, Dany realized. Perhaps she was. She would know soon enough. If I look back I am lost” Then… "You will not hear me scream,” Mirri responded as the oil dripped from her hair and soaked her clothing. “I will,” Dany said, “but it is not your screams I want, only your life. I remember what you told me. Only death can pay for life.”

Yeah Cersei is sleeping with her cousin as well. This makes me think that Cersei is ultimately just a narcissist. She loves her children so much she spoils them rotten and she sleeps with her brother and her cousin. Other than that, it seems like she could care less about anyone else. As she said to Joffery "everyone who isn't us is an enemy". It really seems like she only loves reflections or extensions of herself lol.

Yeah it has been mentioned before that the rebellion against King Aerys began because Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna Stark (Ned's sister and Robert's betrothed). It is referenced that Ned's father and older brother went to King's Landing to go before the king and demand her back, however, that is when they were killed by the mad king. And the rebellion began.

It's the same for me. I think it's because when we watch it it goes a little bit faster than the one SoFie is watching.
