This is guys a watch along format so you'll have to bring a copy to watch with me. I've been warned not to do the regular format.

I didn't pause this episode since it's just the pilot and I didn't need to. But with the way I blurred the episode and added a timer ( left the subtitles without the blur) tell me if it's possible for you to watch along with me even if I pause?!

Anyway, We're just starting the show and it's already so overwhelming. Also there's some weird things happening WTH just happened at the end....This is weird!

Aw! Shame about the watch along style. Every time I've tried to watch this way I ended up being ahead so I have to pause the episode or I get behind and have to pause the reaction. I am looking forward to this though.

This is an absolutely legendary show, and it's certainly not for nothing. This show is deservedly considered one of the best in history . But the end just kills . If Tvd and To, for example, have quite logical endings , the moral is visible, then this show ends simply illogically, and it's a shame. But I will definitely watch your reactions . And I 'm sure the show will give you a lot of emotions when you get into the taste

So excited that you've started this show. yes, it's extremely heavy (in every way possible), but incredible stories with MANY characters. I love how you did the countdown setup with the image blurred, it made it soo much easier to watch along with the separate video side by side. Especially since you blocked the audio on your end. It won't matter if it's several seconds off.

Watch along worked well! Yes this is a show with many traumatic elements: graohic violence, SA/rape, incest, etc. However, the story line is really compelling and overall well written. The characters do grow and change over the course of show. I don't think this show would have achieved its legendary status if it was only about the violence and the sex. Definitely featured prominently but the story is so much more deeper and complex than that. Hope you are able to stick it out!

Here for Buffy and Angel but I'm so down to take this journey with you! Format works good here. Can't wait to see how your character opinions evolve over time. Don't worry there will be many satisfying ends for some and infuriating ones for others, no one is safe in this show and things are rarely as they seem! I'm curious to see what episode fully hooks you.

I'm glad and at the same time not glad that you're going to watch this show. Knowing your empathy and compassion for the characters, I'm a little worried about you. But at the same time, I'm glad because I love GOT. To be honest, I quickly got used to the specific tone of the narrative, and for me it was not traumatic or hard. Although TVD started out like a horror movie for me 🙈. I hope that you will be able to take it more calmly. But if it'll hard to you, we'll understand. You should not do something that is unacceptable to you. For some reason, it's terribly difficult for me to remember a lot of characters, names and who they are to each other. I started watching GOT 3 times as I quickly started getting confused in the plot. But when I realized it, I couldn't tear myself away until I finished watching it. Thanks to my brother, who strongly advised me to keep watching anyway, assuring me that I would enjoy it. As soon as I sit down at the computer, I will definitely see your reaction. I want to turn on the episode at the same time as you so that I can see what is happening on the screen, because I haven't watched season 1 for a long time. Thanks for setting the timer.

i liked GOT but was never a massive fan.. might rewatch it with you so i can pick up more things i missed. I found the show quite confusing, but maybe i wasnt paying enough attention before

HBO is very strict with their copyright. This is safer for Sofie. Sign up for HBO Max or find a torrent. Don’t blame SoFie for trying to protect herself.

Lord it took me a few episodes to figure out all the names! At first I used the hair color to figure out who was whom, but that doens't always work! Then it was nicknames: "Blonde Cher", "Lily Allen's Brother", "HOt Snow Guy", "The Incest Twins", "Muscle PontTail GUy" etc.

love your reaction, you can always stop the show, trust me we get the overwhelming feeling. This show does have amazing settings, outfits, dialogue and storylines that keep you watching. I finished game of thrones in the span of two months with my bf lol. We got addicted to it but we get the irk when we see stuff they show that can make you uncomfortable, it is a legendary show in my opinion and created its own name for itself and its one of hbo's if not the main one of their biggest successes. Hopefully you can continue and hopefully maybe finishing season 1 and then seeing if you wanna continue or not. But if not, we get it 100% and support you!!

I finally did it! Sofie, that's a great reaction. I had already forgotten that so much happened only in the first episode. How long did it take me to remember all this! The positive side of the fact that there are so many characters and storylines in this show is that everyone can choose a character or plot to their liking and follow it. By the way, my favorite character is Tyrion Lanister (dwarf). I love him 😁! Yes, some episodes are difficult to perceive. But such were the times, there was a different attitude towards women, marriage, children, etc. But I think we need to know about this too. At least in order to appreciate what we have now. I don't know if you will continue to watch GOTH, but I will be glad to walk this path with you. P.S. How are things with the TVD?

Tell me about it! When I watched it for the first time, I couldn't figure out who they were talking about and what the problem was. I had to review season 1 several times to remember who is who. Even in an ordinary movie or show, it's difficult for me to immediately remember the names and relationships between people, and here...! I almost lost my mind 😆
