i know the show is nothing like the books, but sharing blood like they did in this episode is described to be super intimate and sensual/sexual in the books. i love this scene so much (and Ian portray the intensity perfectly) love Delena!

Sofie it is funny you said that about please bring Alaric back and that you’d excuse any lame loophole the show had to use to bring him back. I said the EXACT same thing years ago when I watched this show. They could have had a unicorn drag queen resurrect him and I’d have been totally good with it lol. I love Alaric so much. I was fricken devastated when Alaric died and Damon mourning him just broke me repeatedly

I watched the episode 3 hours before i got the news. Glad that i watched it before. I wouldn’t be able to go through it. When editing the episode couldn’t stop crying. But something about the memorial scene, it’s peaceful for me this is why i chose it as the image highlight for the episode and not Alaric’s grave scene. But I’m doing ok, thank you for asking.

Grief is an important part of live, it is what makes people realise the reality of life. Loosing someone makes you loose the innocence and unawareness of childhood, makes you grow up, ponder about what is important, it grounds you. That is reason why this show is big on grief and on moving on, they all are the same when facing the loss of loved one, they are all human and they all have to learn to deal with grief in the same way, move on and and take responsibility for their life.

Sofie you're the purest soul on planet earth🥺......also im looking forward for this season! So many more emotional moments,brilliant mythology,and one singular plot unlike season 3, and a perfect buildup to the big bad.I cant point out anything wrong in this season...you're gonna love this!!

Love your reaction to the bloodsharing scene, yeah, that was pretty much all of us 😂. I also love that Damon didnt do the lantern thing, he really wouldnt do that. And that last scene is 1 of my top 5 moments on the show, I just love it (im a sucker for sad moments apparently).

Both brothers are wrong about how Elena should drink blood. They are like two different poles, two opposites. Stefan doesn't teach Elena (and the others) control, he teaches them to avoid bloodlust. I liked the comparison Damon made with ordinary food. It's very similar. If a person avoids his favorite food, it does not mean that sooner or later he will not break down. She needs to learn control. In addition, we see that Elena has the ability to control. Being hungry, she was able to carefully drink from the Matt and stop in time. And yet, I believe that you can't teach something to another person if you don't know how to do it yourself. Stefan hadn't learned to control himself. How can he teach this to others? But Damon isn't quite right about Elena drinking blood from a vein right away, either. I was surprised, too, that they didn't immediately think of the blood bags.

You didn't come up with dirty thoughts during the scene of feeding Elena for nothing. The show never explains in detail what "personal" means. But Julie Plec had said that exchanging blood between vampires was like having a vampire hug without clothes on. Then everyone understands in accordance with the degree of their depravity. And I think Stefan is right to hit Damon (although, in this situation, it was mean). Damon had practically taken advantage of Elena without explaining what the blood exchange meant to a vampire. Although, I believe he meant well.

Stefan shouldn't wonder why Elena went to Damon for help. It seemed to me that Stefan was on his own wave in this episode. Everyone was focused on the problems, and Stefan with champagne invites Elena to celebrate her first feeding. Even when she says that something is wrong and that she has not absorbed the blood at all. I'm not surprised Elena thinks Damon understands her better. By the way, Damon becomes the king of the friendzone. 😂 Even when Elena chose Stefan, Damon is still ready to rush to her aid, choose her dress, feed her, etc. It's cute and sad at the same time.

I read in earlier comments u watched this 3 hours before you got the news about your grandad I hope you and your family are doing fine. That scene just breaks my heart so badly every time i watch it and specially watching it this time around with you was so special and even more difficult to watch. Love you Sofie pls take care ❤️

I miss you too buddy - Ric to Damon it was so sweet ric heard all of what Damon was saying. This is definitely one of my top most scenes in TVD. I’m glad Damon didn’t do the the lantern thing with the others it would have looked weird it’s very unlike Damon. He doesn’t like to show his emotions hence he had to do this in private and this made that scene even more beautiful. He didn’t even allow Elena to sit in ric’s seat this shows Alaric meant the world to Damon he was his only friend and he died in his arms. Makes me so sad he looses everyone he loves Rose Alaric Elena loves his brother- she choose Stefan Katherine choose Stefan his dad didn’t give him much importance and never got him. Feel really bad for Damon.My Delaric heart :((( 💔

The blood sharing scene is Super sexy. Delena on fire 🔥 though I didn’t like the way Damon rubs the blood sharing bit to Stefan that was wrong. Yes he was trying to help Elena but the way he told this to Stefan was a little rude. Damon germephobe. Bible salesman? Am I wearing my I blew the council T-shirt 😅 Damon season 4 is super hilarious what funny lines 😂😂Loved the funeral scene our mystic falls gang in action together. What Tyler did was very courageous such a huge change from S1 Tyler. There are many questions about the tatoo, the new Hunter, the letter of pastor young this is gonna get very interesting. Can’t wait for more reactions Sofie S4 is really good!!

I mean, personally, I would feel way worse feeding of an animal than I would feeding of a person 😂 At least with the person, you can heal and then compel them to forget. That Dalaric scene at the end always gets to me, the first time I broke down completely.

I think Damon is okay with getting punched when he deserves it. He deserved it here. He didn't fully explain it to Elena and had he not pushed it knowing she was starving I don't think she would have done it. Even starving had Damon fully explained I don't think she would have done it. She wouldn't have done something she expressly knows would hurt Stefan now that they are back together.

It is a tragedy that we never get to see Stefan like feeding on a squirrel or a floppy eared bunny... something. I think they didn't do that though to prop up his "good brother" persona. Lol people get more upset about hurting animals than they do humans.

Yeah same here. I used to loooove season 3, and when I first started watching reactions I was just itching to get to season 3. But after watching like 3-4 reactions I kind of got a bit over it idk. Now I love season 2, 4, and 6 the most. 😁 I never get sick of watching those reactions 😍

That final scene with Damon and Alaric almost made my tear up again, is one of my favorite. Their friendship is so beautiful, my fav next other one with Damon is..... you know which one... Also the line “I dont get the girl remember?” “ is so sad, one more time the girl choses Stefan and not him, and is not about just a girl, is also his father and everyone else whom always prefers Stefan and not him. I love you Damon!!! ❤️❤️❤️

One of the best things about TVD does is showing the contrast between "monsters" e.g. vampires and werewolves, vs. real monsters e.g. Human's who out of ignorance or just hatred actually do worst acts at times to hunt down the "monsters". The scene with the church exemplifies this the most, also how all of that can be justified as "protecting" humans from the "monsters."

The whole champagne scene honestly has nothing to do with Elena I feel, it's more about Stefan celebrating his victory over Damon in that moment. It's why he isn't even listening to her when she tries to tell him it made me sick.

Rewatching the reactoin and decided look up the lyrics to the song, that is playing very softly in the background while Stefan is popping the Champage. The fact that they use so many songs to foreshadow things is amazing. Aye, the Taylor scene is probably one of my favorite moments for his character, and the speech he starts to give about being part of a team and team work. Definitely the pack mentality coming out in him.
