This episode was sooooo good , I particularly was really intrigued by Delena scenes and Stefan and Katherine scenes. Idk what it is but Nina’s chemistry with Paul as Katherine is soooo different even though they’re literally the same person 😂 also , with Alaric , I agree that he is tired of the supernaturals taking advantage of the humans that suit their needs. Next episode is one my all time favorite episodes of the entire show 🥺 cant wait for the next reaction!!

I didn’t like Damon snapping Alaric neck at all; you do not do that to your friends and Alaric is right to be pissed. But at the same time I didn’t like Alaric asking Damon to take a beat with Elena. Elena is now 18 and she seems to be finally a bit happy around him. It is not Alaric business to interfere that much. That to me was out of line. Plus Elena, that because starts to like him more openly, thinks that in order to admit it, he has to act like his brother. She wants to change him into Stefan and I absolutely love the way Damon reacted. He isn't apologetic with Elena about been a vampire, that is a big difference between him and Stefan. Stefan was pretending to be human in front of Elena so she never had really confronted the fact that she is actually dating a Vampire. Suppressing your nature has consequences, as we know with Stefan that hasn't a middle ground, or he is a good behaviour, too good to be true, Stefan or he is the ripper, because he's never learn to control his vampirism, he just repressed it, until it comes out like a blasting bomb and if Damon is bad, Stefan when is bad is ten time worse. Damon, strangely enough, is actually more stable in that department, he is all middle ground and he stand strongly on it, he faced his vampirism and deal with it, because that's who he is and he can't do anything about it but embrace it. He is telling it to Elena, "I'm not Stefan, that's what I am and if you think I'm a monster why are you around me? I'm a vampire, take it or leave it" and that is self respect. That is a great allegory for relationships in real life. You can't go around trying to change people according to what you would like that person to be, because adults are what they are, if you try to hide who you are for the sake of love, your real personality will come out before or after with devastating consequences on which many divorces are based on ( I thought you were different/ when I met you, you were another person, you've changed...etc.). And if you like someone, you have to love what that someone is and respect it, or decide that, that someone is not the person for you. Here in TVD they are tackling the difference between adolescent love and adult love. I can't wait to see to the next episode with you.

I loved this episode. I love Rebekah and Stefan and I feel like I'm in the small group that wants him to forget about Elena and run away with her into the sunset LOL. He also has great chemistry with Katherine. I do agree that Damon feels pressure and tbh its not really fair? He is right when he said that he is still a vampire and yet people expect him to act like a man. Yeah, it is possible for him to be better but that does not happen over night and he is trying and I can see how frustrated it might be for him to feel like his efforts are not taken seriously. I honestly wished that they would have explored Stefan/Klaus/Rebekah more. I thought after he got his memories back that he would be more conflicted and the fact that it didn't change anything was a bit of a disappointment for me. Also feel terrible for Bill Forbes. He went at this the wrong way but he was raised to hate vampires just like John Gilbert. What makes me sad is that even though he accepts Caroline as a vampire he knows hat her life will not be the same. That she will never have kids or know what it is like to grow old with someone. That she needs human blood to survive from now on and she cant have a normal life. Its pretty sad because as a father that is really all you want for your kid. Also Klaus looks like he could be in the cover of a rock magazine. Like he could be lead vocals in a band LMAO.

Stefan was being stupid with the whole Gloria thing. Really? Why try to kill Klaus's witch? He would've found out he did it and that would've made him look suspicious. All he had to do was retrieve a necklace in exchange for Gloria keeping his secret. That's a fair trade. Also, she's a witch and older one at that and can incapacitate you with magic. Katherine was right about your plan.

I think he has a complete say in it...he is like a father figure for elena now,and if he feels like damon shouldn't be making a move on elena,while stefan literally sacrificed himself to klaus to save damon...I think Alaric is right to put his opinion

Sorry I strongly desagree. My parents never dream to interfere like that,imagine your father going to your potential love interest and say "Take a beat" who are you? a bully? If he was consern about anything he should have talk to Elena, diplomatically, tasting the ground, but it is Elena business who she fancy,or who she wants to go out with, if she wants to wait for Stefan or not and nobody else. She seems happy, and after all she went through, seen her smile again should be reason enough to be happy about it too. As parent you cannot interfere in your children love life, they have the right to make mistakes and learn from it. Damon isn't doing anything wrong, nor Elena. And we know why Alaric is acting like that.....with the council too...

I don't know, I'm kind of on Gloria's side with this one. Maybe it's because TVD relentlessly kills their POC characters and doesn't give them a nice send-off. But also, she didn't really do anything wrong? She could have easily told Klaus about what she heard, but she didn't, in order to make a deal with her. Honestly, there's no reason for Elena to have the necklace, except for the sentimental value. While I do understand that Stefan wants to protect Elena, I don't believe that any harm would have come to Elena if Stefan were to just give the necklace to Gloria. She probably wouldn't have even figured out that she was the doppelganger. However, the necklace meant so much to Stefan. His mistake, however, was trying to kill her. I don't blame Gloria at all for doing what she needed to do to extract the information. I actually hate that Katherine killed her.
