It was a pretty hair brained scheme, but good for some comedic relief, amongst the dramatic elements that are unfolding.... Things get rather turbulent from here to the finale, so fasten seat belts. Oh and you should know, the finale this season is when Fox canceled the show without much warning and you will scream at the cliff hanger they left it at. And it was a surprise to the writers and show runners too. They had no idea the end was coming and had already shot some scenes meant for season 4. They knew fans would be severely upset at the cancellation so they put together two bonus episodes after the finale, thinking the show was done. So episode 24 is the finale, and 25 and 26 are bonus episodes which are out of show sequence. Some call them fillers, but in fact they have important story elements, even if you don't get to see what happens immediately after the finale, so watch them in numerical order. Fortunately Netflix took over the show after a huge fan backlash and campaign to bring it back and it only gets better with Netflix having a bigger budget and more time to improve production values, etc.

that really is the story with cain. they both hated and wanted to kill each other, they fought to the death, cain won. i think god marking cain was extremely cruel (and so is hell for abel)
