While its not all one take they did do it in 5 long takes... It's a brilliant episode and the end always makes me cry like a baby. 😭😢

This episode feels like you’re watching a play. Amazing that they got the kids on their marks for that sweeping shot of them changing. I just imagine handlers on the side yanking them off screen just in time. The dialogue, the acting, the camera work is absolutely heartbreaking. So much nuance and then by the end it’s hitting you over the head. I LOVE this episode so much. This is the one that drives the point home that it’s not a show about ghosts. ALWAYS HAVE THE BLANKET! It’s for safety 🫣

I continue to love your reactions to this show. I found it interesting (and understandable) that when you were observing how the characters were looking for anything to distract them from the fact that Nell lay dead in the next room, you couldn't actually say those words, instead saying, "distract themselves from........ from what's going on." I also likes your observation that the first scene really puts you in the space with the characters. Despite seeing this several times, I had not realized that. So thank you!
