this week has kicked my butt (though it is entirely my fault - the landlord said a few days ago that they wanted to do an inspection, and I am clearly not yet an adult because this required a day of desperate spring cleaning ^^;)

Not sure about the pacing/mood of this episode, but I like the colours in this panel :)

I know it won't change your opinion on the episode, (I still have trouble using that term instead of chapter) but I felt it was emotionally powerful and well paced. Austen's "don't you dare get me one" when she needed a tissue was fantastic. It just spoke volumes about Sunati and how well Austen understands her, or at least thinks she does.

Thank you very much :) I think I'm just being especially critical of my writing right now because I've been imagining this scene in my head for so long and I'll never be able to meet my own standards. Some of the dialogue ("Why are you crying?" "Why aren't you crying?") have been with me since before Always Human was featured. It's surreal to be drawing it.

Oh, believe me! I understand where you're coming from! The events at the end of book 2 of my series are the thoughts that started me down the path to writing it. When it came time to actually write the scene, it was... daunting to say the least.
