Mira shouldn't have asked Tess to be her fake date to the Spring Equinox, she asked about the Autumn Equinox. Everything else in the comic has implied the Autumn Equinox (this is what Tess looks up in her phone, they're wearing end-of-winter clothes which is why it's a bit over six months until the Autumn Equinox etc.) so hopefully that all makes a bit more sense now ^^;

The reason I made this mistake is that for a long time I wasn't sure which season I'd use for the comic*. I was mostly torn between Spring and Autumn because they both have really pretty colours - eventually I decided Autumn was prettier and settled on that, but apparently I left Spring in my scripts, and copied it without thought when drawing the episode :)

*An earlier draft of the story had Mira wanting a date for a cousin's wedding, rather than an equinox, but that's a bit of a cliche, and I thought it would be more fun to explore dryad seasonal celebrations/traditions anyway.
