April request stream (Patreon)

How request streams work in general
1) You leave art requests in the comments
2) I'll put together a poll with all the requests
3) You vote on the poll, and I'll draw at least the top-2 voted requests in a stream
4) After the stream I'll upload the completed art and timelapse videos of the art

How the March request stream will work:

I will stream on the 24th of April, from 8pm-11pm GMT, and then from 1am-2am GMT the next morning (the 25th)

(Note to self: Sydney time, this is 6am-9am,11am-noon 25/4)

Request guidelines:

  • You can leave a request in the comments up until the 18th of April
  • I'll be spending an hour or more on each request, so they can be somewhat complicated
    eg. you can request up to 3 characters, you can ask for elaborate outfits or weapons, you can suggest scenes with backgrounds etc.
  • Please keep requests sfw
  • Please provide me with visual references + a sentence describing the personality of any characters I'm unfamiliar with (if you have no visual references, consider using https://picrew.me/ to create a portrait of your character)
  • If you want, you can provide a short description of your request, to go on the request poll (I can write this myself, but if you want to provide your own description, go for it!)

On the 18th of April I will put together a poll so you can vote for your favourite requests.

If a request is not something I'm comfortable spending a significant amount of time drawing, I will apologise, and not include it in the poll, and will suggest that you leave it as a warmup doodle request instead: https://www.patreon.com/posts/49607994

About repeat requests: you can request something you have previously requested, but if there are more than 8 brand new requests this month I will not include repeat requests on the poll, to give the new requests prime real estate :)

Hi there, since against all odds I'm free the 24th (Thanks chaotic work's schedule!), if it's okay with you, I would like to put Adora and Catra under the waterfall of their room (as we talked about) as a request! They are wearing underwears so it should be fairly sfw?

Hi! Mahit and Three Seagrass from A Memory Called Empire. Feels a bit obscure but it was the Hugo winner in 2020, so maybe someone here will have read it? There's pretty much no fanart of these two, so I'd love to see some. Mahit is tall and slender, having grown up in lower than Earth gravity. Short brown hair. Pale skin. Dress would be something smart - she's a diplomat. Three Seagrass is darker skinned: "small: narrow at the shoulder and hip, much shorter than Mahit... hair in a fishtail-braid queue of black that spilled over her left label...over her left eye she wore a glass eyepiece that displayed information...large, dark eyes and thin cheekbones and mouth." Dress: "perfectly cut cream suit... sleeves wide like bells, shaded through flame orange at the upper arm down to deep red cuffs."

If you want, for the future, you are free to leave a short request and say "I don't have a description/references right now but I'll get it to you later" or something similar :) Also have you seen Laya's art? https://twitter.com/layahimalaya/media?lang=en She draws a lot of book fanart, especially f/f fanart. The main reason AMCE is on my to-read list is because of her art :)
