I briefly forgot what F&F stood for, and my brain helpfully supplied 'Firebirds & Fancy', I sort of nodded to myself agreeing before I remembered that no it wasn't and that I was nowhere close.

So pretty! I can't wait to see how it all comes together. Tess has a cat?! How does that work? My cats used to hunt garden snakes (much to my terror).

I don't think Tess ever expected to have a cat, but she found a stray tiny kitten just before the weekend, so she had to care for it until the shelters opened with the work week. During this time the kitten definitely pounced all over her snakes, and it was utterly adorable, and Tess fell in love. Fantasy!google told her that kittens will play-hunt fingers, and can be trained not to do so, and she figured snakes aren't all that different from fingers, so she decided to keep it. Since she got the kitten young enough I think she mostly succeeded, and decided that the scratches were more than worth it :)
