Rough sketch

Detailed sketch - I had this vague idea of doing a rosebush in the background?

Lines + decided to move the roses onto the fence, and make the background a painterly mess, because I didn't feel like drawing that many flowers

I am officially flowered out.

Roughing out a colour scheme + background - the splotchy shapes in the background were made using the soft tree base from the ghibli-esque brush set here:
