sketchbook (Patreon)

This was my first attempt at colouring an inktober picture (I took a photo first because I didn't trust myself not to mess up.) 

I messed up XD

I somehow used so much water that it weakened the paper and blurred the pen ink and then I attempted to re-draw the lines before the paper was dry which was clearly a terrible idea.

Doodled these shortly after decided to buy myself a set of pens, to try out the brush pen, the thickest pen in the set, and the thinnest pen in the set. Did these without a pencil sketch, and I still can't believe they aren't complete disasters.

Doodles from before my second attempt at traditional colouring for Inktober. Trying to get the hang of how much water the paper can handle and how the markers/pens behaved with water.

Here's the picture I monochromed because I made weird colour choices. I don't dislike the colours themselves - pastel colours are lovely, and I'm happy with how the colours blended - but the colour scheme combined with the outfit made this look unintentionally clown-like. WHOOPS.
