Big Update! (Patreon)

Hey everybody, It's been a while since I've made one of these. I am far more active on the discord (this one if you're not in it).

TIER CHANGES

First up, the tiers are changing! I am adding a $10 tier that is limited to 10 members, for reasons that will become clear as you read on. I'm adding discounts on your first commissions upon joining the $5 and $10 tiers! If you've been a patron for a long time, don't worry, this will apply to you too.

I've drawn up a little table to demonstrate the changes to the tiers clearly.

WEEKLY SKETCH CHANGES

Unfortunately, the $5 patrons will no longer have access to weekly sketches. I really didn't want to do this, but in the past few weeks, people haven't been redeeming their sketches, and it feels unfair to the people who really want them.

My old system for weekly sketches was fair, but not future-proof. Previously, when you joined the $5 tier, I added your name to a list, which I cycled through alphabetically once a week. Theoretically, this meant I could've gotten to a point where I'm cycling through hundreds of names, and your weekly sketch would come along once a year. Obviously this is a bit silly, and terrible value if you only care about the sketches.

Limited members in the $10 mean more frequent sketches, and if someone doesn't redeem their sketch and misses a week, other sketches won't be delayed as a result.

If you recently became a $5 patron and haven't yet received your weekly sketch, don't worry, I'll be finishing the current cycle before I switch to the new system.

DISCORD SERVER CHANGES

Firstly, the biggest change is that I plan to make the server public. I'll be doing limited invites at first, because I don't want myself or my only mod, Creamy, to be overwhelmed.

A new patron-only section will be added, where you'll find the new early art access channel, a patron-only general chat, the poll channel (which I plan to utilise much more often), and the weekly sketch channel.
