Think of something you dislike about yourself. Anything about yourself, that you think is not good enough. Anything about you that you feel is inadequate. Maybe it is an aspect of your body, maybe it is an aspect of your skills, perhaps an aspect of your personality, perhaps an aspect of your emotions.

And decide…to give yourself a break. Decide, it just isn’t worth it, to dislike that thing about yourself. Perfection, and imperfection, are only illusions in your mind. They are only decisions that you make.

This doesn’t mean that this aspect of yourself might not change…it might still be something that it is helpful or useful to change, especially if it is something like a harmful habit.

But you can decide…whenever you notice yourself disliking or judging yourself, about this thing…to let go of the struggle. Let go of the dislike. Let go of the judgment. Allow yourself to be fine just as you are.
