Had a moment of inspiration earlier while looking at Carol Danver’s current costume, and wanted to sketch up this idea.

Based on her original outfit, with dashes of her new suit and a couple of new additions, I like to think this would be what Carol wears in a new series where she is a bit more cheerful and relaxed. Her recent role as leader seems to have gotten writers making her very unpleasant, which is a bummer to me. (I really liked the Kelly Sue Deconnick run of her book.)

Techwise, the new suit features a smart-visor that allows her to access info-feeds, communicate with other Avengers via com-networks, and can access a targeting feature if needed. It also features two wrist bands that serve as back up batteries allowing her to use her powers to the fullest without fear of burn out. As long as she is able to charge them up between battles she is able to fight to the fullest, even accessing her highly taxing Binary abilities. The bands can also absorb low yield energy attacks, so they serve a defensive function as well.

(Also yes, I realized as I finished drawing it, that it does resemble Genis/Phyla’s outfits. But since they are both dead, and her old costume was essentially a “sexy” version of Mar-vell’s suit, I don’t think it is a problem.)
