New Armored Arena (Patreon)

Sorry for the lateness. Fixing the watch mode in PVP turned out to take longer than I expected. (Included in this month's release).

This month in the new Armored Arena, we've got some booby traps, namely a "starfish cannon", and a "paddler". Furthermore, the game now saves to a local file, and the difficulty has gone up a bit. You can no longer save by pressing S while the game is paused. The game now saves automatically when you pass 10 floors. For future, I'll be looking to implement some more element related special abilities, as well as more booby traps, and some more complex floor designs as you descend.

Files have just been sent out. As a reminder, if you were declined  or not charged(late) for March's post, you won't have received anything, in which case you can receive files at the end of this month.

Furthermore, if you should have gotten the alpha but have not, please let me know.

Got a bug to report on Armored Arena. Getting KO'd by the spanking trap eventually respawns you but doesn't refill your health and leaves the "KO" animation stuck on the screen until you a) restart the game, or b) you go back in and get pinned by a regular enemy. Strangely it seems to stop enemies from being able to do the rear chokehold as they release it immediately. Other than that I like the idea of the new traps but I preferred the difficulty/saving of the old version. Now it feels like you fight for ages hoping to unlock a new element only to lose it anyway before you reach a save point and have to start all over.

I am getting a virus warning when I try to extract/run this months AA, the other games run fine, but AA is not downloading/extracting as it should it would seem. Just a heads up! n.n

Thanks. That's actually the difficulty I'm going for. I get that going down ten floors can be a bit monotonous, but I am planning to make them more unique, and perhaps shorten them a bit for future. I'll look into that bug.

This happens sometimes. I can only assume that it's because AA is saving to a file now. You have to whitelist AA in whatever virus protection you're using, because it's being reported as a false positive.

Again, sounds like whatever virus protection you have is deleting the file. You need to whitelist it, or a folder that it's in.
