An important update (Patreon)

There will be a lot of rambling, so if you'd rather tl;dr, skip to the last couple of paragraphs.

Today i woke up to the news of "my" president (let's be clear here, i never voted for him nor supported him) fearmongering them nuclear weapons. I thought and hoped i'd never see the day. I also thought and hoped he wouldn't go as far as start an outright war with Ukraine. So i don't even know, what can happen tomorrow. The state has done everything to distance itself from it's people, with only communication being the one-way propaganda. All i know is Russia has been thrown so far back in history, it won't come back from it any time soon. Not in my lifetime, at least.

I haven't been sleeping much, my hands are quite shaky, don't think i've ever been so stressed in my life. And helpless and confused.

I guess we as a people (in Russia), didn't do enough to stop all this from happening. But don't hate the people. They are far removed from the government. They've no voice in the government. The most they can do is protest and get detained for being against the war (imagine that). All bigger opposition leaders are either shot, jailed or pushed out of the country.

It is quite probable that we'll lose access to Patreon and/or PayPal. Hell, it's possible we'll lose access to outside internet.

In light of these events i am closing the LXIX tier for now, i can't draw in this state. Please cancel your pledge before the end of the month, Patreon doesn't allow the removal of patrons from my side. All the requests from the current month will take a bit longer, but i'll try to do them. Sorry about that.

Thank you for your support these past 9 months. Patreon became my only source of income, again, thank you for that. And i won't blame you if you decide to leave. I don't know what will happen here. All i know is peace is the best thing we can have on this planet.
