Daedric Realms as imagined by Midjourney (Patreon)

Midjourney is an AI Art Generator where you provide prompts (for example, "a rainy field with rainbows") and it generates you a piece of art. Most of these were run a few months ago, and the algorithm for the tool has improved significantly since then. They were also cleaned up, color adjusted, and in some cases composited from multiple images in Photoshop. 

These are split pretty evenly between realms who have very clear visual descriptions for the tool to react to (such as Moonshadow) and those that don't (like the Realms of Revelry) where I had to come up with ideas of what the realm might look like myself. I generally tried to stay away from what was previously shown in games. 

With these, as well as with my previous Midjourney experiments, it's very evident that the tool is awesome at creating really cool looking conceptual ideas, but not so great at refining towards a specific concept. Definitely wonderful for brainstorming and ideation, or if you don't have something specific in mind. But will never replace a real artist for actually diving deep on an idea and refining a concept.
