I spent the past few weekends transcribing the Clockwork City storyline for TIL. I wanted to draw a few of the characters from the DLC in the same sort of style that I'd previously used for ESO: Morrowind characters.

I didn't think I was going to like Luciana prior to getting into the quest (I'd previously read her journal, and was worried that she'd come off as one dimensional), but she grew on me as the story progressed. I particularly enjoyed how her and Varuni Arvel's character evolutions were mirror images of each other.

Sketch. The blue pencil erases horribly, but I'd used it on the earlier pieces and decided to stick with it for consistency's sake. The pose isn't particularly original either, but, since it's the one she uses in nearly every picture, I went with it.

Inks. Bombay black india ink applied with a quill pen.

Colors. Watercolor for the figure, gouache for the background. Details in fineliner go on top of this, and then a bit of adjusting in Photoshop to get the colors to look more faithful to real life.
