2017 - High Res Images (Patreon)

Here are some high resolution scans of art I made back in 2017. This post works best when viewed on its own page, rather than on the dashboard.
Gouache sketch for the Falmer, inspired by Scythian and Saami designs. This was a quick idea, and lead to some interesting discussion, so I'd really like to develop it further.
When it comes to art supplies, I am a bit of a hoarder. These guys are painted in gouache on top of drink coasters covered in magazine images. I want to go back and make these sorts of portraits for all Elder Scrolls races.
I found this drawing buried in a sketchbook and decided to finish it up. All watercolor, primarily from Daniel Smith.
This one was a doozie. Back in 2015 I agreed to donate a piece of custom art to /r/teslore's annual birthday giveaway. Jaridase_Zasmyocl was the winner, and requested Memory as the child of Sotha Sil. To be perfectly honest, I had no idea how I would go about it. I knew it had to be anthropomorphic, but I still wanted to include the idea of gears and decomposition that C0DA gave her as a planet. After about half a dozen attempts in various mediums, this is what I ended up with.
It started as an ink drawing, followed by copious amounts of magazine image transfers aided by ceracolor encaustic, and then finished with gouache, acrylics, ink, and who knows what else. I can't say I'm entirely happy with it, but it was a cool mixed media experiment.
An experiment with ceracolor encaustic on digital printer paper. The original drawing is Michael Kirkbride's.
I created these two for the launch of Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, in a watercolor and ink style I've been working in a lot lately. I had wanted to do more portraits in this vein, but the game ended up beating me out the door.
