Miranda usually hated the sound of the Citadel. The endless hum and electric pulses of the countless cars that zipped by her balcony. However, despite this, she often found herself looking out at the distance. It helped to center her. After the chaos and danger on board the Normandy, the day-to-day buzz of the massive space station was a relaxing change of pace.

However, it would be if Shepard were not constantly bombarding her with requests and questions. At times Miranda thought it wasn’t worth the hassle of bringing her back to life. If only the Illusive Man gave the green light for an inhibitor chip. But, alas, he wanted Shepard to be true to the legend before she burnt up in orbit.

At least here on the station she could rely on her ‘dog’ to help her cool down. Her custom made FENRIS model was the next best thing to a real life canine companion. However, Cerberus guidelines clearly dictate that no mechs are to be used onboard company ships - even the Normandy. However that didn’t stop her from smuggling the robot on long missions away.

If Miranda’s day was going to get any more stressful, she may find herself needing some relief from her mech sooner rather than later as it looked like she had another notification interrupting her break.
