My first work of this underrated character. I combined old techniques of painting for hair with new effects of illumination and other things. I tried to make him looks like on the movie... but maybe is not right in all. Let me know what do you think.  :)

Thanks for posting this. I like it. Zebra stripes are very difficult to get right, I imagine you scanned through the movie so many times hoping to see him standing similar to this to get his markings accurately. I think the hair technique needs a little more work, because it lost its depth about mid back, it looks like a 2D sprite put on a 3D model. I think you should experiment with that painterly style with your other near the mid of the back. I think it looks fine around the ears, but it just looks odd the further down it goes, almost like a sticker.

Actually I need A LOT of screenshots for references. For hair I used an old pencil I used around 2010 for grass. I need study more the stripes pattern for him.
