This video is a recording of a live Zoom portrait session, aired on 19th Feb 2024. It is shared here so that you can catch up and draw from the session if you missed it, or continue to work on a portrait if you attended live. As this is a recording of a live Zoom session the quality is limited by Zoom and will be a lower resolution than our our tutored sessions which are recorded locally and undergo more rigorous processing before their release. Please feel free to work from the video directly, or to take a screenshot to work from - if you take a screenshot please do be mindful of the photo guidance below. To get the most from the recording, make sure you adjust the resolution in the cog wheel in the bottom right of the screen to ensure maximum resolution, selecting 1080 resolution.

About the model & session

  • Esme Bone is one of our two Graduate artists-in-residence at the Mawddach Residency in North Wales and will be making work here alongside Linnéa Duckworth, who will be modelling for us next week.
  • You can follow Esme artwork on instagram HERE
  • Esme is looking at dry stone walls while she is here in North Wales. For our international attendees who might not be as familiar with the mortar-less dry stone walls that criss-cross Britain and Ireland, there is a little more about drystone walls around the world HERE
