In our final solo-set in the Bubble-gum Bouguereau series Esme references William Bouguereau's 1900 painting 'Before the bath' with a the daily ritual of dressing. If you've ever life modelled or even  tried to pose your hand for a short study you will know how difficult it can be to search for a natural  pose. Every posture you adopt becomes forced and artificial and you find yourself questioning what you even do with your hands all day. In this set Esme went through the process of dressing, pausing on Justyna's request to create shapes and gestures informed by a familiar action.
