Summer 2023 Teaser (Patreon)

After an excellent shoot last weekend I'm delighted to be able to share some preview images with you along with the schedule that we'll be releasing them on over the summer! The shoot was fun and fast paced as always - I was co-ordinating logistics from Wales while Lance ensured the studio was ready and Laura oversaw the running order. On the creative side, our new photographer Justyna Neryng was shooting and directing while Tobias Slater-Hunt assisted on lighting. Over 13 hours we shot 1200 reference photos, which we'll be sharing over coming months, introducing four new models to the Patreon. During the summer we'll be shooting our autumn reference images, with a few details of what to expect in my previous post. Without further ado, here is a snapshot of the new models in our photosets:

Introducing...

• Sandy despite being one of the Drawing Circus mermaid-harpists and a regular fixture at the Draw Studio this is Sandy's first Draw photoshoot. You can follow his music and art HERE.
• Danna has been a long-term friend of Draw and is a regular model at our online sessions so we were very glad to coax her down from Glasgow to shoot for the day. You can follow her modelling HERE.
• Jess came down from London for her first visit to the Draw studio - connoisseurs of online life classes may recognise her as the founding session leader of 2B-or-not-2B Collective.
• Miles is a voice actor, life model and regular in-person life model at Draw - we first met Miles working at the same pub as Elle and we're hoping he'll be getting more involved with online modelling soon! You can follow him HERE.

Guidelines for using the photographs

Please do:

• Download these pictures to your own computers and devices, downloading the Zip files for all images, or saving individual photos.
• Use the pictures to draw, paint, print and sculpt from, being as realistic or creative as you like
• Share the artwork you’ve made with us and the world - in books, in exhibitions, on social media, or on your fridge
• Tag us in work you make (@drawbrighton / #drawbrighton) – you don’t have to, but we love to see what you’ve made!
• Edit the photo files as reference for your own drawings - you can change the contrasts, colours and backgrounds to provide more tailored reference for yourself.

Please don't:

• Share these pictures with anybody else – they are between you and us
• Share the photos themselves online – thanks for respecting our models’ privacy
• Edit the photo files themselves for artwork – we want to see original work you’ve made
