The latest Draw Journal is released today! This 48-page mini-newspaper collects together writing and artwork from the extended Draw community and is the second in our series, with the first volume available to Patreon supporters right HERE.  We published the original Draw Journal in 2020 during the first UK lockdown to help us showcase our community and to distribute funds to the contributing artists. This years Journal is a celebration of the positive aspects of the last year and the amazing connections we have been able to make online, separated into sections that explore teaching, posing and drawing in the digital space. You'll find a PDF of the Journal attached to this post for you to download and read - enjoy!

Contributors

This second Draw Journal was funded by both our Kickstarter & Patreon supporters and celebrates our last year spent drawing online together, with contributions from Chloe Briggs at Drawing is Free, Janet Mayer & Matthew Lawrence from Drawing Cabaret Couture, Danna Sim (aka Conkuntion), Hester Berry, Shelley Morrow, Lancelot Richardson, Wuon-Gean Ho, Curtis Holder, Gabriel HG, JM and Anna Catherine with original illustrations by Will Scobie. The Journal was designed and conceived by Megan Snyders and edited by yours truly.

Physical copies

The journal was originally conceived as a mini-newspaper and we have a limited print run of printed copies that are being sent out to our Kickstarter supporters. We also have a small number left to purchase, so if you wanted a real-life, hold-in-your-hand copy you can buy one via the Draw shop HERE for £5 (UK postage only).

Sharing the Journal

This digital copy is just for you - our Patreon supporters.  If you wanted to share it we'd ask that rather than sharing the PDF itself, you encourage other people to either support the Patreon here to get their own copy, or to buy a real copy via the shop. Each sale helps us to commission new work in future and to support our artists and models (all artists and writers are paid fairly for their contributions to the Journal).

Best wishes,

Jake
