These incredibly gestural and varied poses, informed by the notion of possession, will be great subjects for timed, gestural drawings  as well as longer and more detailed studies. The idea of a force or spirit (which is supernatural or other) taking over our physical body is both enthralling and terrifying but possession does not always have to be malign, it also describes the moments when we are fixated intensely on our phone screens, mesmerised and unblinking. The true horrors that we experience are not supernatural but rather to do with obsession and sometimes psychosis too. A good horror movie is a rare find but I’ve listed some here for you in case you’re feeling brave.
