Lemonade Photo-set: Noodles (Patreon)

'Lemonade' is a new series of photo reference shot art directed by Laura Ryan and shot by Olly Hearsey. We'll be releasing a new set each Friday for the next 4 months and you can find the full schedule of releases and some teaser of each set here. Each week Laura will share her the ideas that gave rise to the set and some complimentary visual & auditory inspiration  to sit alongside the set. This week we have Urte's first photoset, Noodles.

Noodles

Urte consumes long, sticky and entangled noodles with a primal relish. These chunky udon noodles are the focus of this photoset, which is also informed by the work of Ruprecht von Kauffman, whose rich, textured painted worlds are strange and atmospheric. Pink metaphorical clouds float past the heads of his passive domestic characters; a strange inner psychic world emerges visually through painted marks and aesthetic design decisions.

• Share the photos themselves online – thanks for respecting our models’ privacy
• Edit the photo files themselves for artwork – we want to see original work you’ve made
